I hear mums and dads saying to their children… I hear mums and dads saying to themselves…
What will people say if I get a divorce?;
What will people say if my child runs around happily and sings in the supermarket aisles?;
What will people say if my child enjoys playing in the sea and splashes people around them?;
What will people say if I’ve put on weight?;
What will people say if they realise I’m gay?;
What will people say if they find out I’m seriously ill?;
I wish that as much as you care about what others think, other people cared about you…
What do you say to yourself? When you think about what people will say, do you end up saying something to yourself first? Do you feel ashamed just at the thought of: “what will people say?”
You know, just like back when you first heard it…
You learned to make other people more important than your own needs… to value other people's opinions more than your own desires… you learned to drown out your own voice within the colourless voice of the crowd….

An opinion is the cheapest commodity, it’s everywhere, everyone has one and usually plenty of them…
Everyone has an opinion just like they have a nose…
Does everyone else’s nose dictate your life? If not, then why should everyone else’s opinion dictate yours?;
